Our journey through this stunning country felt exactly like that. Starting from the Black Sea, we journey toward the Armenian border, encountering hot springs, canyons, abandoned sites, and magnificent monasteries along the way. Finally, our departure from Georgia proves almost impossible…
Our very first time in Asia
Join us on a journey through Georgia, where the landscapes are breathtaking, the history is deep, and the adventures never end. From the Black Sea’s shores to hidden hot springs and ancient monasteries, we experienced it all. And just when we thought we were leaving, Georgia (or Frank?) made sure we stayed a little longer. Let’s dive in:
From Batoemi to Waterfalls – We started in Batoemi, sorted the essentials, then quickly left the city to explore nature. Our first stop? The serene Mirveti Waterfall—a taste of Georgia’s raw beauty.
Twists in the Road – The Goderzi Pass was closed, so we turned back and found solace at the Vani Hot Springs. Waking up to the sunrise in these warm waters was pure magic.
Unexpected Discoveries – We wandered into Martvilli Canyon and the Nokalakevi Sulfur Spring, where hot water meets an icy river—unplanned, but unforgettable.
Soviet Shadows – In Tskaltubo, abandoned Soviet sanatoriums spoke of faded glory. Eerie, yet fascinating, these ruins left us deep in thought.
Final Hurdles – Just before the Armenian border, our truck broke down in Tbilisi. A few days and one epic night later, we were back on the road, ready for new adventures.
